Deidre | Manager
Deidre established Warrnambool Helping Hands in response to the need she sees in the care for our elderly in our community. Offering services designed to keep them living independently in their own homes bringing an overall improvement to their quality of life and peace of mind.
Having spent a greater part of her life in roles covering aged, dementia, rehabilitation and palliative care as a registered nurse and carer. Her qualifications include having a registered nursing degree from Deakin University in Warrnambool and a Diploma in Palliative Care from the Flinders University in Adelaide. She is compassionate and always approachable and has gathered a team of professionally trained partners for this enterprise.

Hannah | Nurse
Hannah brings a caring, calm and a warm-natured approach to every client.
With a background in Nursing, Hannah has a deep commitment in offering compassionate and holistic care. She naturally creates a comfortable, safe and supportive environment where individuals feel valued and cared for.
Hannah takes pride in forming meaningful relationships with clients, dedicated to her role with Warrnambool Helping Hands in enhancing each individual's quality of life.

Karen | Registered Division 1 Nurse
Karen has worked in aged care services for over 40 years, both Residential and Community based. I am passionate about our clients being treated with dignity, respect and the understanding they deserve. Karen also excels in wound care, assessment of clients care needs, together with liaising with appropriate care providers.
Karen did her training at the (old) Warrnambool Base Hospital over 50 years ago. She has lived in Warrnambool most of her life has two children and a dog.

Lauren | Reception
At Warrnambool Helping Hands, Lauren focuses on efficient office operations, client care and building positive relationships with staff, clients and families.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with loved ones, supporting environmental initiatives, and finds joy in music and the outdoors.

Shanan | Personal Care
I am a personal care worker dedicated to providing compassionate support to the people in need. My role allows me to make a positive impact on their lives, ensuring they feel valued and respected. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with both my clients and their families, while understanding their needs.
While doing my job I have a sense of belonging and bringing joy to the clients that I care for.
I am passionate about caring for those in need in the community because I believe that every individual deserves dignity, respect and companionship. Working with people also allows me to make a meaningful difference in their lives, providing support, comfort, guidance and living life to the best of their abilities, I find joy in listening to their stories, understanding their unique experiences and helping them maintain their independence. Simply put, I am a carer that cares and thrive on helping others and supporting those around me.

Sandi | Financial
An experienced finance and administration professional with a strong background in payroll, accounts management and business support, Sandi brings knowledge to Warrnambool Helping Hands supported by a certificate IV in Financial Services – Accounting.
Friendly and approachable by nature, Sandi enjoys working collaboratively to support positive and successful business operations. With a reputation for accuracy, reliability and professionalism, Sandi admires the high standard of client care and is proud to be part of the Warrnambool Helping Hands team.
In her free time Sandi enjoys photography, travel and learning random facts for trivia nights.
